International Latino Film Festival (SF) presents a
documentary, directed by Manuel Zayas, 2004, about
the marginalization and repression of the gay
community at the beginning of the Cuban Revolution
in the eyes of Cuban writer Reinaldo Arenas. The
film is a kaleidoscopic depiction of his life, the
Cuban gay community surrounding him before the
revolution, and the hardships he endured after it.
