QAC The LINK: Poster Child or Pariah?--Homeless Queer Youth Living at the Crux of Cultural Contradiction 7pm, Diversity Center, 1117 Soquel Ave, SC. This second forum presents the research of Ben Peacock, UC Berkeley PhD candidate in Medical Anthropology. Peacock's research focuses on the plight of homeless queer youth in San Francisco; this presentation will specifically examine the safe spaces these youth find at marijuana buyers clubs and with the Radical Faeries. Refreshments provided. The LINK series is sponsored by the Diversity Center and the Cantú Queer Center in effort to bring the Santa Cruz and UCSC queer communities together, celebrating and learning from our own scholars, activists, and artists.
