Units are available for Student Interns--2 or 5 units, volunteer work is also a possibility. Interns must express an interest in working with the queer community and be available 5-10 hours per week.

Hydrothermal activity, caused by tectonic plate movement about 10 million years ago, changed some of the area’s serpentine rock into the red ore of mercury, known as Cinnabar. Encompassing nearly 4000 acres, the park offers one of the most spectacular wildflower displays in the region during early spring.
